# Shopify: Integration overview

# The installation process in 3 steps

## 1. Install the app

**Install our Shopify app called 'M:AI User‑Friendly Site Search’ in your Shopify store:**

**Nb! Only click the install-button to install the app, do NOT click "Enable the 'M:AI Search' app in the current theme"-button inside the app since we will tailor-make the design for you first!**


**After installation**:
* All your products, variants, categories, and brands are automatically fetched to M:AI.
* When you update products, they are almost instantly updated in M:AI.

## 2. Go to our app

Find our Shopify app M:AI, and click the **“Go to M:AI admin”** button on the right-hand side:

**No worries, we will set everything up for you!**
**You are also able to do all you want in M:AI Admin, i.e:**

1. **Preview** how M:AI Search will look like before activating it in your Shopify theme (select preferred language in M:AI admin, then click the eye-icon).
    
2. [See statistics - check out your dashboard](https://support.meshnordic.ai/en/article/statistics-dashboard-4ji6bm/)
    
3. **Check that your collections, brands, and products** are set up correctly. They should be available in the languages and currencies you want.
    
4. If you want to see when product are imported, go to Import integration > Ecommerce. Check the "Integration tasks" list.

| Your main market, language, and currency should be set automatically. However, you can easily add additional markets using the guide [Multilingual: Markets, languages & currencies](https://support.meshnordic.ai/en/article/multilingual-markets-languages-currencies-1v3abnp/).

## 3. Go LIVE - add and enable M:AI in your theme

PREVIEW mode is always available, but when you are ready to **go LIVE with M:AI in your Shopify store**, follow this guide to enable the Shopify app M:AI in your theme with 1 click.
