M:AI platform - First time

The first time you use M:AI platform


It usually takes 24-48 hours before all your products are synced, after installing our app.

Before ALL products are synced ZERO products are visible.


We will let you know when it's done. We will also make some design and filter settings for you.



Preview mode


After you've installed our app, you should NOT click "Enable" in your theme until you're satisfied with how M:AI Search looks like.


The PREVIEW mode is 100% safe to use and does not affect your store in any way.


  • When 24-48 hours has passed, first make sure you've selected the correct market. Otherwise no products will be visible.
  • To switch market, click on Sweden + the flag, or whichever country you have in your upper right corner.
  • On the dashboard it says how many products has been synced, or that's currently being synced




Product list


Go to Products > List to see your products.


Sometimes there's a RED warning next to the "New Product" button. If this happens to you, then all products are NOT synced.

Depending on your selected market, products are either visible or not.


If the visibility icon is black (and not green), you can use your mouse to mouse-over the icon and it will tell you why the product is not visible. Usually it's hidden in that market/country.




Variants


Go to Products > Variants to change your variants, set variant colors, or similar. More info.


The edit-button is a 3-dot-icon if there are several options, or just a pen-icon if there is only 1 option.


Set your variant colors using the pen-icon.




Search settings


There are a LOT of settings for M:AI Search. Some of the more interesting one's are listed below.



Filters


Go to M:AI Search > Settings > Filters


Each filter has a pen-icon where you may make individual filter settings. I.e. to display a search bar for that filter, if it should be sorted in a particular way, be collapsed or not etc. More info.



Auto is a fallback to the generic settings for ALL filters. Change to On or Off to make specific settings for each filter.



To re-sort variants such as Sizes in a different sort order, use the re-sort-icon.

Then you may drag-and-drop each size easily.




Top bar


The products displayed instantly when loading the Preview is called Top bar.



Go to M:AI Search > Settings > Top bar.

The Top bar can be configured in almost any way. Best deals, newest products, most popular, a specific collection or brand ie. sale etc. More info.




Boosts


Go to M:AI Search > Settings > Boosts.


This is a great PREMIUM feature!

You may boost products / brands / collections, either positive or negative to make sure they are more - or less - visible in your search and product recommendations. More info.




Synonym words


Go to M:AI Search > Settings > Synonyms.


This is a great PREMIUM feature!

You may add synonyms ie. when I search for "boots" also display "shoes". More info.




Design & CSS


Go to M:AI Search > Settings > Design & CSS.


You may set the image-URL to you logo, set which icons or texts that should trigger M:AI Search to be displayed in storefront. More info.




In Layout Settings it's easy to change to whichever font you'd like and also most of the colors used in M:AI Search storefront.




Brands


Go to Brands.


To make brands really stand out you should add an image to each brand.

Make sure the image is not too big to load, ie. for mobile + 4G visitors.


Edit each brand and add an image URL. More info.



Besides an image you're also able to add a URL to each brand page if you have any. That way you will lead your visitors to specific pages, increasing sales and brand awareness.




M:AI Recommendations


We always recommend using M:AI Search together with M:AI product recommendations.


M:AI Search will help you get MORE orders while M:AI Recommendations will help you to get BIGGER orders.



Go to M:AI Recommendations > Recommendations.


If you start to subscribe to M:AI Recommendations then we will do the entire installation. You don't have to do anything, just let us know you want to start with M:AI Recommendations. More info.




Start to pay


When you're satisfied and want to start subscribing to M:AI platform do the following:



Click the "Upgrade"-button.


It's very simple, if you use Shopify it will display our app where you select your plan size. You don't have to fill in any card payment details since we re-use Shopify's payment.


If you use WooCommerce it will display a list of our search plan sizes, you just select then one you want. We always recommend PREMIUM since it will give you the best sales boost. Fill in your card details and your then the payment will work automatically each month.



M:AI Recommendations

We always recommend using M:AI Search together with M:AI product recommendations.

M:AI Search will help you get MORE orders while M:AI Recommendations will help you to get BIGGER orders.


Click the "Upgrade"-button next to M:AI Recommendations. It will display a list of our recommendation plan sizes, you just select then one you want. We always recommend PREMIUM since it will give you the best sales boost. Fill in your card details and your then the payment will work automatically each month.
