About the integration

Shopify is one of the ecommerce platforms we support. M:AI Search is built as an easy to use plug-and-play Shopify app. A few clicks and then you’re done!

The installation process in 3 steps

1. Install the app

Install our Shopify app called 'M:AI - AI Search & Discovery’ in your Shopify store.

All your products, variants, categories, brands are automatically fetched to M:AI.

All updates made to your products in Shopify are instantly reflected in M:AI.

2. Check your settings

Check that your settings and preferred markets are setup correct.

In the Shopify app M:AI, click the “Go to M:AI admin” button on the right hand side:



In M:AI Admin you are able to:

Preview how the AI search will look like before activating it in your Shopify theme.

Check that your categories, brands, and products are set up correctly. They should be available in the languages and currencies you want.

Go to Import integration > Ecommerce. Check the "Integration tasks" list. You will see that the import of all your products from Shopify is now in progress!



Follow the how-to guide 3. Setup: After products are imported to set variants and filters.

Your main market, language, and currency should be set automatically. However, you can easily add additional markets using the guide Multilingual: Markets, languages & currencies.

3. Add and enable M:AI in your theme

Enable the Shopify app M:AI in your theme with 1 click.
