About the integration


M:AI Search is built as an easy-to-use plug-and-play Shopify app. With just one click, the AI search is installed!


The installation process in 3 steps


1. Install the app


Install our Shopify app called 'M:AI User‑Friendly Site Search’ in your Shopify store:
https://apps.shopify.com/mesh-ai-search-discovery


Nb! Only click the install-button to install the app, do NOT click "Enable the 'M:AI Search' app in the current theme"-button inside the app since we will tailor-make the design for you first!



After installation:

  • All your products, variants, categories, and brands are automatically fetched to M:AI.
  • When you update products, they are almost instantly updated in M:AI.

2. Go to our app


Find our Shopify app M:AI, and click the “Go to M:AI admin” button on the right-hand side:



No worries, we will set everything up for you!
You are also able to do all you want in M:AI Admin, i.e:


  1. Preview how M:AI Search will look like before activating it in your Shopify theme (select preferred language in M:AI admin, then click the eye-icon).
  2. See statistics - check out your dashboard
  3. Check that your collections, brands, and products are set up correctly. They should be available in the languages and currencies you want.
  4. If you want to see when product are imported, go to Import integration > Ecommerce. Check the "Integration tasks" list.



Follow the how-to guide 3. Setup: After products are imported to set variants and filters.


Your main market, language, and currency should be set automatically. However, you can easily add additional markets using the guide Multilingual: Markets, languages & currencies.


3. Go LIVE - add and enable M:AI in your theme


PREVIEW mode is always available, but when you are ready to go LIVE with M:AI in your Shopify store, follow this guide to enable the Shopify app M:AI in your theme with 1 click.
